The Little Beaver features a two position turbo boost foot pedal which allows the user to increase the scaling power with out adjusting the dial on the front of the unit. Simply press lightly on the foot pedal to begin scaling and press firmly to kick the scaler into BOOST mode.
30K Automatic tuning technology automatically tunes in the perfect frequency for your insert. The Little Beaver accepts all brands, makes, shapes and sizes of scaling inserts - if they are 30K they will work with this scaler. No need to throw out your current tip inventory, they will work in the Little Beaver.
Advanced 30K technology is the most advanced and highest power scaling technology. The power of a 30K unit provides better scaling efficiency while providing less discomfort for the patient than 25K scalers.
The handpiece sheath easily unscrews from the scaling handpiece and can be autoclaved in any type of steam sterilizer (no dry heat). This eliminates the threat of cross contamination with out the use of barrier bags which tend to be clumsy and costly.
